


MISSION: It is the mission of the Eric L. Miller Youth and Resource Center to improve the health, education, welfare and opportunities for youth in Leavenworth
OVERALL GOALS:
- Offer a safe and supportive environment where young people can connect with peers and a staff of volunteers.
- Help young people develop physical, social, emotional, and life skills.
- Help young people build a sense of belonging within the community.
- Create programs to help improve academic performance, including reading and math grades.

Our goal is to offer young people a safe space in the community to come together with their peers. This will give young people the opportunity to take part in recreational andeducational activities to help them develop their physical, social and emotional abilities. Forging positive relationships /friendships and giving young people a sense of belonging in their community.
A youth center benefits young people and the community in many ways, including:
