HOW LOW CAN ONE GO?                

 

Sometimes I look back on my life and wonder “How Low could I go?” There were many things that I partook of that was totally wrong and was not acceptable by main stream people. I even went out of my way to bring somethings into my life that were not good for social gatherings. Even while I was married I would participate in these dirty pass times. I felt no indignation as I did the things I did, I felt no loss of self, no shame or anything like that. I did what I did for the feel good feeling, and that was it. Well, curiosity fell in there somewhere too.              

 

If man knew half of the things I was able to do I would be an outcast to many, and a friend to a lot more than you can imagine. I never could have figured out how many were in the same boat as I was, but there are quite a lot of men, and women in the same fellowship of SIN that I was part of. I will not point any fingers towards them I will only speak of myself.              

 

I was into ME and not others. I wanted to get all I could get to make ME feel good, to make ME complete. I thought I was the CHAMP of right living, there was little that I couldn’t accomplish or at least attempt to master. I was able to make the military a career, to move higher and higher, and then; it stopped at a certain level and I could not make it higher then that. So then I sought to make money doing what I had learned to do in the military and that worked for a while and one day it too ceased to function for MY good. Again as you can tell, it was all about ME.   JOHN 1:4 & 5   In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the Darkness did not comprehend it.              

 

Truth is that I was living in the darkness of life and not in the light. When I was a young lad, tender in my mothers eyes she would see to it that I was in church every Sunday morning, evening and Wednesday evenings as well; and that I participated in special events for the children and youth. All the while I was living in darkness and was not receiving any of the teachings or preaching’s that was coming forth from those who were speaking. I had a hard time grasping what was being taught as I watched adults acting indifferent in church just as I had done on Sunday school.              

 

I made it my life’s goal to disrupt church and anything that had to do with church and God. I prided myself in the ability to show up young men and women who attempted to bring me into their belief system. They came at me with their Bibles and theologies trying to teach me the error of my ways, and they didn’t realize that I was way ahead of them in my knowledge and understanding. I had no trouble showing them up. They were not able to contain a man of MY stature.   PROVERBS 23:7a   For as he thinks within himself, so he is.              

 

Then, at the ripe old age of 42, I had an epiphany. I learned a very hard lesson; that no matter what I thought, “IT WAS NOT ALL ABOUT ME”. That was a shocker at best to discover that I was only one in many and that I was never, nor could I ever, in charge of my forever. It was during this time that I learned how wrong a man can be within himself. To find out that I was idol worshipping myself all that time was a culture shock to say the least.              

 

Saul, who was a very learned man, taught by Gamaliel in the ways of Judaism, the Law and so on, thought more highly of himself than he should have. He went about to destroy anything and all who followed after Jesus and His teachings. Saul knew what he had to do and set out to do just that. Now I am not saying that I was like Saul, but I came close. As he set out to arrest or even kill Christians he had an epiphany on that road to Damascus, he met with Jesus Christ, personally, and found himself blinded to reality. So too was I in my life, blinded to the ways of God in this world. And just like Ananias who heard the call of God to go to Saul and open his eyes I had a man in like manner speaking the Truth of God in my ears, and that was the day that I met the Resurrected Christ of the Bible.              

 

I learned that I am not much, in fact I am but a worm in this life without God and His Son Jesus. I needed a Savior to Redeem me from myself and the world I built around me. I was heading for a devils hell, the abyss, and there would have been no way out once there. But because of the Love that God has for His Creations He sought me worth His effort to redeem me. Now, have a tale to tell, and that tale is the Story of Jesus and what He has done to me, through me, for me, and by me. His Story not mine.              

 

As for how low can one go; I think I reached my bottom and at that time all I could do was look up! Look up to the only one who could pick me up and clean me up and set my feet on the right path. I will never cease to tell of my plight from heathenism to redemptionism. My rebirth into a new world of understanding and life.              

 

If you are looking for a way out of a life similar to mine, you don’t have to look too far to attain what you need. Jesus Christ is right there where you are, and His ears of hearing are open to your cries. His Promises are true, trust Him and you will see.   PRAY THIS PRAYER   Dear Heavenly Father, I have read this post, and I know Where I am, and I need a Savior to draw me out of myself. Help me to find the right way for me to go, that I may see The way with open eyes and know for a fact that I have Been Redeemed. Save me Lord and I will be Yours. I Pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth AMEN!

 

COME OUT JEZEBEL!!

 

  Jezebel, who or what is Jezebel? Well, Jezebel is no longer with us in body, but however there is this thing called the Jezebel spirit. She is not a spirit, but the idea of Jezebel is in the wind everywhere. So, who is this woman anyway? To find out more about her we need to go to God’s Holy Word, you know the Written Word, the Bible [Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth] book, His Love letter to us?   1 KINGS 16:31 And it came about, as though it had been a trivial thing For him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, That he married his Daughter Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and went to serve Baal And worship him.              

 

Now here we are learning about Ahab the son of Obed and how he got hooked up with Lady Jezebel (and I use the word Lady with bitten tongue.) WE see that her fathers name was Ethbaal [“with Baal” or “man of Baal”] {The Revell Bible Dictionary}. He was a Baal worshipper and so she was raised in that belief, so here we see what it means when the Bible says “bring up a child in the way they should go, and when they get older they will not depart from it” (it being the concept of what to believe in, or what/whom to worship.) Because of her upbringing she didn’t know any better then what she did.   1 KINGS 18:4a For it came about, when Jezebel destroyed the prophets of the Lord.              

 

After she had done this Elijah had all the prophets of Baal killed and when Jezebel heard of what Elijah had done she sent Elijah a message that read:   1 KINGS 19:1 & 2 Now Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, And how he killed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and even more, if I Do not make your life as the life of one of them By tomorrow at this time.             

Jezebel, if I might add, did not have any great love for the Prophets of God, hers were more for the ways of the world and what they understood. Let me, at this time, share with you eleven indicators of a Jezebel spirit so that you may be able to identify them in your church. Now, first of all, this spirit knows no gender and can manipulate anybody. Here are the indicators:                        

 

1] People influenced by the Jezebel spirit have fear issues of rejection. They control others so that they will not be hurt. Generally there is a history of trauma or abuse.                          

2] They target the headship. They offer free help to be their top assistant because they want their protection. It hides from the leaders but manifests in front of others.                          

3] They make commitments and promises and use recommendations from others to impress others.                         

  4] They seem super spiritual in an exaggerated way to gain acceptance and attention. They have their own agenda. They are looking for disciples of their own. They whine until they get their way.                          

5] They isolate and pit people against each other privately and individually behind closed doors.                          

6] They play the victim. They are never wrong. They blame everyone else. They play on compassion to block discernment.             

 7] They use false humility and feel entitled or owed something.                          

8] They are not accountable to anyone and often accuse others of being a Jezebel.                                  

9] They look for others who are hurt and wounded to mentor them.                          

10] They accuse people falsely.                          

11] They operate with insecurity.                          

12] They initiate witchcraft prayers based on selfish motivation.                                                

 

(These are quoted from Charisma Magazine)   REVELATIONS 2:20 But I have this against you, that you Tolerate the woman Jezebel, who Calls herself a prophetess, and she Teaches and leads my bond servants Astray, so that they commit acts of Immorality and eat things sacrificed To idols. Tolerate: To allow the existence, presence, Practice, or act of [something that one does Not like or agree with] without prohibition Or hindrance; permit.              

Let me make this clear, the Jezebel spirit is not confined to just women, but it can influence men and children as well. Discernment is key here in identifying the Jezebel spirit before it can disrupt and/or destroy a body of believers. I will not leave you unprepared for defeating this kind of spirit, in fact I will give some tools to defeat it.              

1] Allow God to deal with YOU before you deal with anyone else.            

2] If YOU are NOT a Spiritual Leader, FIND ONE!!!!!!            

3] Approach this person in humility and determination.            

4] PRAY, PRAY, PRAY AND PRAY AGAIN.    

 

PRAY THIS PRAYER   Lord I ask You to teach me Humility and Discernment That I might be found ready to approach anybody With the Jezebel spirit, that I might win them over To You and that they will know True Salvation And Agape Love. Show me the way that I must Go to live a Righteous life before You and Man. I ask this in the Mighty Name of my Savior And Lord Jesus Christ AMEN!

Let me be straight forward about this right from the get go. I believe what the Bible, the Infallible Authoritative Word of God says when it identifies a Follower of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be†in Christ, he is a
New Creature; the old things passed away;
Behold, new things have come.†(TIISB)

 

 

 

 

 

Should we be afraid of what could happen?? Well, scripture says to not be afraid of what could be, but sudden fear is unpreventable. I guess the answers that we seek are best left up to God and we should seek His answers, after all He knows more than we do. RIGHT? RIGHT! RIGHT.

PRAY THIS PRAYER

Lord, teach me to stand on Your promise that I am yours and
You are mine, and that my identity is not found in this flesh
But in You. Teach me to stand in the Grace and Love whereby
You have Loved me. It is my Hope and Prayer that I lose not
Whom I am and who I serve and that I abide with You all
The days of my life on this plain.

I ask this and Pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ
My Lord and Savior.

 

A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH!?

What you might ask could be a FATE WORSE THAN DEATH? Well to get a good understanding of what could be worse we will have to look up some scripture, and when you finish reading this you will know, if you don’t already know. Some would say that being cooped up behind bars in a prison is worse, some would probably say Marriage is worse, others might say blindness, but whatever they think does not come near to what the Bible says.

Revelations 21:8
But for the cowardly and unbelieving and
abominable and murderers and immoral persons
and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part
will be in the lake that burns with fire and
brimstone, which is the second death.

WOW, I say again: “THANK GOD FOR GRACE!” I used to be in some of these categories’, and if it weren’t for the Lord I probably would still be there. What’s more I learned about who I would be spending that second death with and that was not pretty.

Revelations 19:20

And the beast was seized, and with him the false
prophet who performed the signs in his presence
by which he deceived those who received the
mark of the beast and those who worshiped his
image; these two were thrown alive into the
lake of fire which burns with fire and
brimstone.

Quite the list of who you don’t want to associate with, huh? Now you might say they deserve that and you are right, however there are those within churches today who will fall in to the same category as those. I am reminded of certain scripture where Jesus Christ warned us saying:

“ Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide,
and the way is broad that leads to destruction,
and many are those who enter by it.
For the gate is small, and the way is narrow
that leads to life, and few are those who
find it.”
Matthew 7:13-15

I understand this to say that it wont be an easy task getting to the Father. I look around me in this life and I see many whom I could surmise are going to be heading to the wide direction but I do not know so I can not say either way so I will leave it at that. Have you ever ate a meal where someone ate with their mouth wide open making chomping noises and smacking their lips? I have and it isn’t pretty either. Well, the Bible says that there will be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.

Many years ago I heard a Preacher describe hell as a place where a person would see another person and would reach out to touch them but couldn’t, or maybe they saw a pitcher of water and thought they could drink from it, but it was always just out of reach. Imagine, being thirsty and can’t drink, hungry and can’t eat, or worse yet, feeling the need to go to the bathroom and can’t. How horrible would that be?

Enter by narrow the narrow gate, what is the dimension of that gate? It is the size of Jesus Christ. It can’t be any larger nor any smaller, only through Him can we enter. Now the gate to destruction is everywhere and it is easy to find. OH, yeah the Second Death.

REVELATIONS 2:11

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
Says to the churches. He who overcomes shall
not be hurt by the second death.

REVELATIONS 20:6

Blessed and holy is the one who has
A part in the first resurrection; over these
The second death has no power, but they
Will be Priests of God and of Christ and
will reign with Him for a thousand
years.

REVELATIONS 20:14

And death and hades were thrown into the lake of fire.
This is the second death, the lake of fire.

So, as you can see there is a Fate worse than death.

SAY THIS PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I Pray right now in the Name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth asking you to forgive
me of any and all ungodliness that lies
with in me, that I might be cleansed by You
once and for all. That on the final hour
of my time here, I might find myself in
Your presence and that I will be accepted
by You. Be my Lord that I may be Your son.
I Pray in the Mighty Name of Christ Jesus.

Just a closer walk with Thee,

And you want to know a secret of abounding joy? HE LOVES US IN SPITE OF OURSELVES.!!!!!!!

In NEWNESS OF LIFE.

For we†walk†by FAITH and not by sight.

GALATIANS 5:16
But I say,†walk†in the Spirit, and you will not
Carry out the desire of the flesh.

EPHESIANS 5:2
And†walk†in love, just as Christ also
Loved you, and gave Himself up for
Us, an offering and a sacrifice to
God as a†fragrant aroma.††††
(Notice here the Fragrant aroma bound for the Garden?)

EPHISIANS 5:8
For you were formerly darkness,
But now you are light in the Lord;
Walk†as children of light.

1 JOHN 1:7
But if we†walk†in the light as He himself
Is in the light, we have†FELLOWSHIP†with
One another, and the blood of Jesus His
Son cleanses us from all sin.

 

 

 

 

PRAY THIS PRAYER
Father, I am here right now asking You for Your Favor
In my life, and that I might be granted the privilege of
walking and talking with You, that I might not stumble
or be afraid of what goes bump in the night.
I desire to know You more than ever before,
And to FELLOWSHIP just like it says in the Bible
And what he said here in this writing.
And I Thank You Almighty Father for hearing
And answering my Prayer.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
The Only Begotten Son of God.

WALK WITH GOD!

GENESIS 3:8
And they heard the sound of the†Lord God
Walking in the garden in the cool of the day,

 

 May I submit to you that when God created mankind He did so that Man could and would walk with Him daily, talking with Him along the way. Just as we see in the aftermath of the crucifixion where Jesus Christ after having been raised from the grave was walking with two men on the road to Emmaus and talking with them. Jesus said:

MATTHEW 18:11
ìFOR THE SON OF MAN HAS COME TO SEEK AND SAVE
THAT WHICH WAS LOST.î

 

 

 At the time of writing this Impartation I was reminded of a song that I used to sing in church a lot since I had been saved that kind of talks about this topic. The name of the song is, ì I come to the garden alone.î And the chorus goes like this:

AND HE WALKS WITH ME,
AND HE TALKS WITH ME.
AND HE TELLS ME I AM HIS OWN,
AND THE JOY WE SHARE AS WE
TARRY THERE NO OTHER HAS
EVER KNOWN.

 

 God is not hiding, He is not asleep, He does not have 911, or call waiting, He is there with You whenever you need Him, and He will answer your call. Talk with Him, walk in His light along His path that He had established for you. He is waiting for you and is ready to receive you right now.

PRAY THIS PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the
Mighty Name of Your Son Jesus Christ asking
That I would like to know You intimately
And I want to walk with you and talk with You,
Daily in Your Garden. Guide me in the way You
Have chosen, speak to me that I might hear You.
I ask this in the Name of Jesus.

It was a feeling that I will never forget because I could feel anger, hatred, malice, fear, embarrassment, and shame fall from me. I felt WHOLE for the first time ever in my life. It was sometime later that the Lord began teaching me what the Elderly Lady meant when she spoke to me about Love.

1 Corinthians 12:31 ñ 13:13
12:31 But earnestly desire the greater gifts.
And I show you a more excellent way.
13:1-13
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
13:13 But now abide faith, hope, love, these
Three; but the greatest of these is LOVE.
14:1 PURSUE LOVE

 

With me and my walk it has been about Love; Love for the Father, Love for the Son, Love for the Holy Spirit, and Love for Mankind. As God SO LOVED THE WORLD, let us not grow weary in Love for one another.

PRAY THIS PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I come asking you to teach me
About Your Love, let me learn how to Love
Without anger, malice, hatred, jealousy, or high
Mindedness, just Your Agape Love for others.
I want to know You and Your ways.
And I Thank You in advance for this.
In the Name of Jesus Christ I Pray

But when I read the scriptures I see where God calls on us to sing and not concern ourselves of the people and what they think. Letís look at it in light of the Bible:

Psalm 95:1
O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our
Salvation.

Psalm 96:1
Sing to the Lord a new song;
Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing to the Lord, bless His Name;
Proclaim good tidings of His
Salvation from day to day. 

 

 

 

 

One day I was listening to a preacher preach and he made the statement that clarified it all for me. He said: ìIf the devil tells you, that you canít sing, sing anyway, it makes him flee.î I learned that the opportunity to sing to the Lord is of the heart, and not of the voice box, the mind or the mouth, but what comes out of the heart that matters. When you sing to Him from your whole heart He is pleased.

 

When our songs are mundane and sad we are in a sense saying that God is not able to deliver us; maybe we could all learn from the Hebrew peoples and their songs. How they rejoice and show that they believe that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is still the God over us and He still reigns in us.

PRAY THIS PRAYER
Father, I ask You to give my heart a New Song,
And the desire to sing to You with a new song.
Grant me the boldness to sing even when I am
Told I canít, Help me to be a pleasing singer
To Your ears.
I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ
AMEN.
