Decision of Devotion
Have you ever made a decision?
Decision = act or result of deciding, a conclusion
(Marriage, children, job, friends, God)
What is your devotion to the decisions you make?
Devotion= a strong love or attachment
Matthew 7:17-20
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
We as Christians can no longer proceed to walk the line in Christ. What fruits have we shown over our time as a Christian in God?
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The question to ask yourself is what is your treasure? Why do we find such devotion in our hobbies but not in our God or Families? Are we taking God/ Grace for granted by not following His order?
Matthew 8: 18- 22
18 Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side. 19 And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master; I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 20 And Jesus saith unto him, the foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 22 but Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
People of God ~ It is time to stop playing games with God and each other. It is time be real with one another in love and respect! It is time we honor Gods’ order in our live and in his house the way He clearly has called us too!
While in Prison Paul wrote these simple words.
Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Why is it so hard? WE need to find devotion and a sense of integrity to all decisions we make. Remembering ~ God 1st, Family, Job, Money
Matthew 16:24-27
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Great works requires an even greater devotion to all the choices we make. That no matter what we KNOW God is in control and we allow Him and Him alone to guide us………
